Full Job Description

We are a busy Guest House based in the Clapham area looking for a night shift receptionist.The ideal candidate(s) should be pleasant presentable and comfortable in dealing with customers, which is essential for late arrivals or early check-outs. You will be a well organised and well-spoken individual. You must be computer literate (as administrative work will be required), able to work well alone using your own initiative and be safety conscious for obvious reasons. Your duties will include:

  • Welcoming our customers to the hotel - check them in and make any reservation changes as required/where possible.
  • Completion of day-to-day administrative tasks on time and accurately
  • Following our procedures, when dealing with customer bookings, e-mail replies, cash reconciliation, and security.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy hotel for the customers and the rest of your team.
  • Working cross-functionally when required.
  • Supporting your colleagues to achieve high results, across all departments.

The shift starts at 10 pm and finishes at 7 am and will include weekends and bank holidays. From time to time you may also be required to work on day shifts according to the business needs.
