Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dealing with multiple drivers
- Communicating with ports
- Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
- Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
- Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
- Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
- Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Desirable
- Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge
- Can work on own initiative
- Quick and efficient problem solving skills
- Organised at all times
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
