Recra are working in partnership with a prestigious engineering technology company based in Coventry, who are looking for a Junior Design to join their team.
At this company, there are a team of design engineers working in tandem to ensure that all bespoke project aims are achieved. Whether the client demand is a hydraulic or pneumatic solution – or even a bespoke design that incorporates both, this company can design the most efficient, effective, and productive system to meet all of their demands.
For this role they are looking for a candidate who has experience with:

For this role they are looking for a candidate who has experience with:
- Autodesk Inventor (Preferable) or Solid Works. Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Designing 3D models of fixtures (Hydraulic and manual).
- Producing 2D drawings of fixture details.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and understand British Standard drawing practices.
- Experienced in Excel.
- Must have a mechanical engineering background (5 years minimum).
- Must have at least 3 years experience - working in a engineering environment - having hands on experience with tools etc.
- Must be willing and able to work as part of a team. Must be self-motivated. Must be adaptable. Must be able to able to adopt company procedures and standards.
Hours of work:
- Mon-Thursday - 7:30am-4:30pm
- Friday - 7:30 am-3 pm
This is a role where you would be fully supported by the company and has amazing scope for fantastic progression.
Starting salary from £22k per annum.
