We are seeking a Time Served CNC Machinist to operate our NC Mitre Saw and Mecal 3+1 High Speed 3 Axis Milling Machine.

This role is ideally suited to a previously trained operator who wishes to progress into a Setter/ Operator role.

What you’ll be doing

• Setting machines to specific drawings and requirements.
• Bending & folding steel parts.
• Checking own component.
• Following Job Cards.
• Working on own initiative and meeting timescales for completion of tasks.

What we are looking for

• Amada, Baykal and Promecam press brakes experience.
• Reading engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Fork lift experience and license would be preferred, but not essential for the role.
• Work safely “Safety is our first language”.
• Strive to improve current methods and offer advise.
• Have a “Can Do” attitude, and thinks outside the box.
• Strong communication skills. • Attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Report back any issues to the Supervisor.
• Advise of any issues with the components or tooling / machinery.
• Own the process and take it forwards to expand on capability.

Salary: £25,136.64-£27,551.68 per year
