Packing Team Member

We are seeking a conscientious and passionate team member to join us who has the very highest level of care and attention to detail.

At Houseplant.co.uk, we set a high bar and offer the utmost care throughout the packing process.

An interest in house plants, horticulture, floristry etc is advantageous but not essential. Packing and/or administration skills/experience also advantageous.

Whilst your task is predominantly packaging ready for for courier collection, a significant part of this process is administration, therefore confidence using a computer, a pleasant written demeanour and strong literacy skills is a must as you will at times be communicating with our customers in the execution of orders. Working efficiently and carefully are vital to this role.

Caring and nurturing living plant stock is an integral and ongoing part of this job role so a natural aptitude for 'learning on the job' is required.

This position is 3 shifts per week at present across our weekly rota that runs Monday to Sunday. This role will include a Sunday shift.

Overtime during peak retail periods and to cover holiday will also be required from all team members.

The opportunity for a permanent position will be given to the right candidate upon successful completion of a 3 month trial period.

Part-time hours: 15 per week
