The client is a functional Art Gallery who produces and exhibits functional sculptures by international rising and already established artists and designers and is actively involved in the research and production of the limited edition works exhibited. The client has offices in Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles.
Job Description
Finance Assistant - duties:
- Recording purchase invoices on Quickbooks
- Assist with months end and year-end closing
- Preparation of weekly payment run
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Updating payment status on Asana
- Recording art logic raised sales invoices on Quickbooks
- Follow up on payments and received and communicate to wider teams
- Bank and credit card reconciliations in various currencies
- Processing employees expense reports
- Monitor finance expense reports
The Successful Applicant
Finance Assistant - will possess
- At least 2 years proven experience as bookkeeper or finance assistant required
- Knowledge of double entry, intercompany
- Advanced excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Table)
- Confident and ability to communicate clearly
