Assistant Energy Efficiency Technician

We are currently delivering double digit growth year on year and require Assistant Technicians in both loft and cavity wall insulation to join our team.

No previous experience is required, offering training to ensure that you succeed in your role and grow your knowledge in this industry. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the growth and development at InstaGroup.

As an Assistant Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

· You will be responsible for the compliance and safety within the workplace

· Communicating regularly with the office team and Production Coordinator

· Ensure that you consistently offer a high level of customer service, always

· If working in Cavity Wall Insulation, then you will be responsible for regular machinery checks

· Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including sub-contractors and suppliers

· Regular maintenance of the van

· Comply with all company standards, always

· Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all time

· To report any complaints to the office team in a timely manner

· Maintain and develop your own technical expertise and knowledge

This job will be for you if:

· Previous industry experience is desirable, but not essential. You will have a good understanding of installing all insulation CWI materials

· You are willing to travel (UK)

· CSCS preferable. Or willing to work towards

· NVQ level 2 in building treatments (CWI or Cold-water treatments) preferable. Or willing to work towards

· You communicate clearly. You can explain anything to anyone, and you are comfortable communicating in person and on the phone

· You are good with people. The job will require youto coordinate on site and with the customer

· You are tenacious. You have high energy & professional enthusiasm to deliver on your goals. You don’t give up and enjoy a challenge.

· Full driving licence is essential – up to 3.5 ton vehicle
