Home Care Worker

Blossom Home Care Cornwall are looking for professional home carers to join our multi award winning team. We strive to deliver "blooming good care" to adults in their own homes, ensuring that each care package is a minimum of 50 minutes giving our carers time to get to know their customers needs, wishes and lifestyles this in turn allows for a person centered approach offering the highest standards of individual care.

We are looking for care workers that are caring, passionate, confident, respectful and patient. Blossom Home Care Cornwall covers Carnon Downs, Perranwell, Mylor, Mawnan Smith, Constantine, Helston, Porthleven, Mullion, St Keverne and surrounding areas, offering a highly competitive hourly rate at £13.50 we appreciate all of our carers hard work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily assistance to customers living independently in their homes.
• Administering Medication.
• Collecting prescriptions.
• Helping customers to participate in social activities.
• Preparing and assisting with meal times.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's support
• Domestic/cleaning duties.
• Providing companionship.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.

Requirements:

• Full drivers license and access to a vehicle.
• Must be eligible to work within the UK.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Home Care experience is desired but not essential as full in-depth training and induction is given.
• Available to work every other weekend.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 - 40 per week

Salary: £13.50 per hour
