About Our Client
Our client a highly successful business with an International Presence are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join the team in Woking, Surrey
Job Description
As the Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant based in Woking, Surrey you will be responsible for
- Maintain the Sales Ledger, through the weekly import of Sales Invoices
- Support with preparation of monthly reporting packs.
- Support the month end close cycle, including journal preparation and postings.
- Weekly/Monthly reconciliation of customers' accounts
- Support maintenance of Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are approved, posted, and paid in a timely manner.
- Weekly reconciliation of suppliers' accounts.
- Support credit control process via tracking customer payments.
- Support the Corporate Controller in the response to Audits
The Successful Applicant
- Varied Accounting experience
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- You can be studying for an Accountancy qualification but its not essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of Navision / Business Central ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
- Strong Organisational skills
