Trade Counter Assistant

Job Purpose: The Counter Sales Representative will be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers while achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets. They will also act as a liaison between customers and relevant departments.

Salary - £13.98 per hour

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

Job Duties:

• Liaise efficiently with other departments to ensure customers receive the highest level of service
• Receive and complete quotations and sales orders for both counter and contract customers
• Handle customer queries in a professional manner
• Help develop and grow the customer base
• Provide regular reports and feedback to management
• Arrange delivery and collection of products
• Manage any Counter or Contract warranty issues/claims
• Undertake filing activities on a regular basis
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested

Requirements/Experience/Competence/Qualifications:

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Positive attitude towards work and company objectives
• Strong negotiating skills
• Willingness to travel
• Technical awareness and knowledge of products and services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident demeanour
• Valid driving license.
