Coffee Shop Assistant / Barista - Part Time

We are an award winning Coffee Shop in the Centre of Guildford. We urgently need good, reliable and preferably experience staff.

This is a PERMANENT PART TIME role for approximately 20-25 hours a week. You must be available at weekends.

THE APPLICANT MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SUMMER.

STUDENTS / UNIVERSITY STUDENTS must be available during the DAY in the week and weekend. IF YOU ARE LEAVING GUILDFORD FOR THE SUMMER DO NOT APPLY!

Basic Responsibilities....

• Fast, accurate presentation of a wide range of espresso-based speciality beverages and blended drinks
• Clearing, cleaning and readying tables for customers
• Kitchen work, operating the dishwasher and maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
• Serving customers rapidly and with the necessary customer service skills
• Ensuring that you are knowledgeable about our range of products and can answer customer questions confidently
• Fast, accurate, efficient till operation including accepting credit cards and loyalty cards
• Carrying out the opening & closing routines, including cleaning routines, to the standard that you will be shown & trained to achieve
• Assisting other employees in their duties
• Demonstrate the required standards of service, self-presentation, friendliness and accuracy
• Basic kitchen / food prep helping to plate and serve customer orders to the standard which you will be shown.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
