Role: Bioassay/ Potency Scientist, Analytical Development CMC

Location: Oxfordshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, qualify and perform analytical techniques with a specific emphasis on development of cell-based potency (bio)assays that are required to support testing of their products.
• Work as part of a team specifically to develop, qualify and perform analytical assays for testing of drug product and drug substance and in-process samples to support CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) activities.

Technical Experience:

• Molecular biology and cell potency experience
• Practical knowledge of mammalian cell culture
• PCR
• Practical experience in cell-based potency assays and molecular techniques
• ELISA
• Western blot
• Viral growth curves, viral titers, transfections.
