8B Lead Nurse Safeguarding Children

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Children's Nurse with significant safeguarding experience related to children and young adults to be part of the Trust wide Safeguarding Team at UHB.

Leading the children's safeguarding team at UHB , the post holder will be responsible for providing visible leadership, knowledge, expertise and supervision in relation to safeguarding children The post holder will provide core specialist child advice to staff and will lead on areas of expertise and development across UHB

The successful candidate will be required to work with multi-professional colleagues from across the Trust and external partner organisations, including primary care, the Local Authority and other partner agencies.

Experience of leading change utilising continuous improvement methodologies and influencing practice, as well as working in multi-professional teams and across organisational boundaries is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
