Job Title: General Handyman

Location: County Durham

Salary: £15 - £20 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced General Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks across various properties. The role will involve working independently, as well as part of a team, to ensure that all properties are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard, ensuring that all work is completed within the required timeframe.

* Attend to general maintenance and repair tasks, such as fixing minor electrical and plumbing issues, replacing broken fixtures, and repairing damaged walls or flooring.

* Identify and address snags and defects in properties, ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client.

* Undertake any other duties as required by the client or line manager.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker, with a focus on painting and decorating and snagging work.

* Good knowledge of general maintenance and repair tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

* Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other team members.

* Full UK driving licence and own tools are desirable.
