Archivist - p/t

An Archivist is sought to work one day per week, in central London.

A publishing house has a part time job vacancy for an experienced Archivist to work on a 1 day per week basis, on a one year fixed term contract.

You will already have Archives experience, to be able to deal with managing the Archive and enable access to it, dealing with enquiries and visiting scholars.

We could consider half days potentially, if preferred.

The offices are based in central London.

You should have Archives experience, and being comfortable managing the archive on a standalone basis, tho you don't necessarily need strategic level experience.

You will also be dealing with the offsite storage facility, including retrieval.

Key job responsibilities will include liaising with scholars, internal editorial teams, fielding questions, plus access and retrieval.
