The Opportunity

Prospero Health & Social Care are looking for HCA's to deliver the best standards and quality of care to Nursing Home Residents to work on a temporary basis to suit their work / life balance. Please note - If you live in Cardiff and Swansrea, and you don't drive, please do not apply for this position as getting to and from South Cornelly is very difficult on public transport.

This specific unit is looking for ad-hoc cover to care for residents in an impressive Nursing Home unit in South Cornelly, Near Porthcawl. Not specifically restricted to this unit, however, as we are working with various clients within the area in and around Bridgend & Swansea.

Position details:

• Location – South Cornelly (Near Bridgend)
• Position – HCA
• Type of work – Temporary
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – Ongoing
• End date – N/A
• Full time/part time – Part time with varied shift patterns
• Hours – Various Early shifts, Late shifts, Twilight shifts and Nights shifts available. Night cover preferred though weekend shifts available.

Requirements:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• DBS (Updated or New)
• Provide two professional references
• Possess 6 months experience within care settings
• Practical Manual Handling Experience in a live environment. Confidence key in this area.
• Must possess a caring, flexible nature
