Job Role - Picker/Packer

A great opportunity has arisen for a picker/packer at our family-run business based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent business outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate must be willing to take on responsibility for all of the packing side of the business

• Packing tea orders and samples within our packing room (no real heavy lifting required)
• Packing items with care and attention with a strong focus on the aesthetics of the packages
• Writing hand written notes to our customers for orders
• Labeling and boxing products prior to shipping
• Organising stock
• Utilising our online systems including the google drive, CRM Zoho, Xero, Ecommerice to see the daily orders/samples and Parcelforce/Royal Mail to fulfil orders/sample requests (training provided)
• Work closely with the sales staff in person and via email to fulfil requests
• Have all orders ready to be sent out the door for when the mailman arrives in the afternoon
• Must be computer literate

• Must organised and a good communicator with a friendly, approachable and professional manner
• Upbeat with a positive attitude
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks and organise self and others.
• A strong initiative
• Patient and flexible attitude to cope with a variety of duties which may be required at short notice.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

HOURS : 8 am - 5 pm - 40 hours / 5 days pw

Holiday entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays.

Now, we have a range of over 50 delicious, healthy and innovative blends that are available direct through our website, and in cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices and independent retailers all over the UK.
