Bilingual Nurseries & Les Petites Etoiles are high-quality bilingual nurseries that provide spacious, bright classrooms for children to learn, grow and play.

Who are we looking for?

We are interested in French-speaking candidates with experience looking after children from 0 to 4 years old.

We are especially interested in candidates with the following qualifications:

• CAP Petites Enfance
• Diplôme d'Etat d'Auxiliaire de Puériculture
• Diplôme d'Etat d'Educateur de Jeunes Enfant

Role

• You will assist with all daily routines, supervise the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and prepare activities and materials.
• Assisting with settling new children following the Settling in Policy.
  
• Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
• Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.

Locations

• Paddington (Penguins - our toddler room for children aged 18 months and up)
• Tufnell Park (Penguins - our toddler room for children aged 18 months and up)
• West Hampstead (Working across all age groups)

Required Skills:

• Ability to communicate with and understand children.
• Great people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with parents
• Good spoken and written English (AND French if working as a French speaker).
• Competent IT skills (Word, email)
• Confidence to put into practice what you know
• Great listening skills
• Problem-solving & a positive can-do attitude
• Resilient (strong) yet also caring and great empathy
• Able to take constructive criticism
• Able to be self-reflective to improve constantly

Study Requirement

For unqualified candidates, you will be required to study for an early years qualification recognised by OFSTED to learn the EYFS.

All references will be thoroughly checked, and we will apply for a DBS update service and a DBS equivalent from any country the applicant was in before the UK and within the last 5 years.
