We're looking for a hard-working, efficient Healthcare Assistant who is committed to providing excellent client care. You will work directly with patients and perform a variety of duties, including formulating treatment plans, preparing patients for examination and education about health issues. We're looking for a dedicated, passionate professional who is able to make decisive decisions and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Take a patient's history.
- Provide support for an elderly patient with dementia.
- Advocate for the patient with nursing staff if necessary.
- Assist doctors, nurses and surgeons.
- Create a personal care plan for patients and their families.
- Communicate with patients and their families and caregivers in a courteous and professional manner.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
