Job Description

Ty, the #1 Plush manufacturer in the world is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to call on both large national retailers and smaller independent shops across your designated area.

Your territory will cover Manchester and the surrounding areas to the north so you must be able to travel daily throughout your assigned territory and a full UK driving licence is required. Some overnight stays may be required and all associated costs will be covered by the Company.

Duties will include:

· Interacting with customers and store management

· Merchandising stands in line with brand standards

· Checking product churn and reporting figures to the sales representatives/sales director

· Photographing and documenting stands and displays on a daily basis

· Promoting and showcasing the Ty product ranges throughout the store

· Attending annual trade shows to assist with stand merchandising and preparation

· Supporting the sales team with any other adhoc or administrative tasks

· Locating & unpacking deliveries for replenishment of displays

· Assisting stores with building their stands (where necessary)

· Weekly and monthly sales reporting

· Writing reorders

Full retail training & support provided as well as a company car, mobile phone and tablet

Experience and skills required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous customer Service experience required
• Toy/gift trade/industry knowledge or experience would be beneficial
• Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and Microsoft word
• Work well under pressure
• Work well as a team and individual
• “Can do” attitude
• A confident & friendly personality

Please note that this is a full-time role working from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9AM > 5PM. Due to the nature of the business, some overtime may be required during peak season and flexibility is required.

Salary: £24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
