Seamstress/ tailor

We are a seeking an experienced seamstress or tailor for our atelier in Central London, who offers a high quality alterations service.

The ideal candidate must be a tailor specialising in both high-end womenswear and menswear luxury brands. have a solid understanding of alterations methods and how to work with different types of fabrics and sewingmachines.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• at least 5 years experience as a tailor/ seamstress in high-end brands.

• Trained with good tailoring skills to perform ladies and mens garments alterations using industrial sewing machines.

• Proven sewing experience of an extremely high standard.

• Committed and organised with good time keeping.

• ability to sew and hand stitch to an exceptionally high standard.

• understand the needs and requirements of the customer and fitting.

• Fitting garments on customers to determine how the alterations should be done.

• work on all types of materials.

• English speaking.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Sewing: 5 years (preferred)
