Manufacturing Operative

We are a family run manufacturer of hot water cylinders based in Dukinfield Manchester.

We are seeking hard working, physically fit, organised and punctual individuals to join our production team.

The roles will be to work on various manufacturing tasks throughout the factory working with sheet metal, hand tools and machinery.

We operate a piece work system, where the staff are paid for what processes they complete. Because of this it is a fast paced hard working environment but the pay is exceptional for this type of work.

Anybody experienced in sheet metal work and physically fit should be able to earn anywhere from £15 to £25 per hour, we have staff earning even more than this who are fast at what they do.

Experience working with sheet metal in a factory will be crucial as you will be given a maximum 3 months on an hourly rate to learn the job and get up to speed before you will go onto the piece work system.

The hours are on a rotating shift pattern. Week 1 - 6am to 2pm - Week 2 - 2pm 10pm. However, we haven't yet established the Week 2 late shift, so it would be early shift 6am to 2pm for a few months until we set up a late shift.
