People Advisor

We are looking for a People Advisor to join our People Team.

As a People Advisor, you will be providing our team members with professional advice and guidance on all people issues.

The role:

• Acting as first point of contact for people related queries from both Line Managers and team members
• Providing consistent and sound advice & guidance in respect of all employee relations
• Ensuring people policies, procedures and standards are applied consistently and equitably
• Ability to hold training and upskill the management team on employee relations
• Promoting equality of opportunity in the delivery of services and employment practices

What qualities does a People Advisor need to join Virgin Active?

• Strong experience in a People Focused Role
• Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
• Ability to manage a number of cases
• Excellent, friendly verbal and written communication skills, for both email and phone
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
• You will act as a member of one team with one goal, will always be yourself, and work hard. Most importantly, you dream big
• You are always looking for ways to learn and improve, to inspire people while having fun and doing the right thing
