Full Job Description

Medicare EMS are seeking Full Time and Part Time Frontline ECAs.

Hours : Full time hours are an average of 40 hours per week, working 10 hour shifts on a 4 days on, 4 days off basis. An option to work 5 days on, 3 days off is available. Part time contracts are available.

Main Role and Responsibilities :

  • Working as part of a frontline emergency ambulance crew, responding to all categories of 999 calls on behalf of an NHS Ambulance Service.
  • Driving under emergency conditions when appropriate.
  • Work alongside more senior ambulance clinicians forming a double crewed ambulance attending to emergency calls.
  • Attend and convey patients with acute or urgent clinical presentations.
  • Undertake hospital transfers.

Qualifications :

One of the following ; Future Quals Level 3 Ambulance Patient Care and Urgent Care Services, Future Quals L3 Diploma in Ambulance Emergency and Urgent Care Services, Qual Safe First Response Emergency Care Level 4 (required)

Emergency Driving Qualification (required)

Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points (required)

Recent Enhanced DBS with barred list information for adults and children (one can be processed if the applicant does not have one)

Salary: £14.00 per hour

  • Blue Light qualification (required)
