PACKAGE

Hours:

Shift 1

• 4 on 4 off (7 days)
• 7am – 7pm days x2
• 7pm – 7am x2 nights

Shift 2

• Monday – Friday (5days)
• Earlies 6:30am – 2:30pm
• Afternoons 2:30pm – 10:30pm
• Nights 10:30pm – 6:30am

Salary: £10.42 plus shift allowance (17.5% or 25%, dependent on shift pattern)

Location: Knowsley industrial Estate, Liverpool, L33

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• FLT License desirable
• Manufacturing plastics can be a dirty business, so we need teams who help to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and plant cleanliness.
• Manually packing product from the extrusion lines
• Loading finished goods onto pallet with 25kg bags ready for shipping
• Using the stretch wrapper to secure finished product
• Operating the FLT to transport finished goods
• Operating multiple extrusion lines
• Regular process audits and clean down
• Working within the blending department as and when needed
• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and processes as part of the shift team
• To work in accordance with company policies and procedures to reach company target
• Working as part of a team, assisting others in carrying out their duties within the production area
• Having the willingness to pass on knowledge and experience to others
• You will be working in teams and operating large scale machinery to very specific conditions
• Ensuring that a safe working environment and our industry standards are always maintained
• Constantly reporting to the engineering team that the equipment is fit for purpose
• There are laundry facilities provided by the company for your own personal PPE
• Onsite shower facilities for use at the end of shifts

EXPERIENCE

• Extrusion experience is desirable
• Blending experience is desirable
• Plastics industry is desirable for this role
• FLT Counterbalance
