Social Media & Marketing Assistant

Are you an ambitious and creative individual with a passion for social media? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Media Assistant to join our long-established Electrical Wholesale and Decorative Lighting company. In addition, this role will involve implementing effective email marketing campaigns for both companies. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with at least 1 year of experience in producing social media campaigns and email marketing, who can thrive in both a team environment and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of developing and implementing dynamic social media strategies for our electrical wholesale and decorative lighting brands
• Show off your creativity by crafting engaging and captivating content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Engage with our audience by monitoring and promptly responding to comments and inquiries on social media
• Stay ahead of the curve with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, using them to elevate our brand's online presence
• Collaborate with our talented marketing team to execute powerful email marketing campaigns
• Analyse social media and email marketing performance metrics, providing valuable insights to optimise our strategies
• Be an active participant in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas to our overall marketing and branding initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in producing social media campaigns - email marketing would be advantageous, but not essential
• Proficiency in using various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn
• Proficient in Photoshop, Canva or other photo editing software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity and ability to generate engaging content
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and email marketing platforms
• Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Salary: From £22,500.00 per year
