Nursery Nurse

To assist in the delivery of care to babies and their families in the Hospital setting, under the direction of the midwives/registered nurse. To be flexible in approach and assist in covering within Family and Women's Services where required, which can be subject to change at short notice,

Under the guidance of the Midwife/Registered Nurse work enthusiastically as a member of the maternity team to ensure women and their families are at the centre of care. Show care and consideration to the needs of women and their babies and treat with dignity and respect at all times.

To be able to work with transitional care unit based within the postnatal ward in providing care to transitional and extra care babies.
