Housekeeping/Cleaner
The Pheasant Bar and RestaurantWe are looking for housekeepers/cleaners at The Pheasant Bar & Restaurant for part time work. For this vacancy you can have small to significant experience when you apply.
The shifts available are from 10am to 2pm or 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, there are also laundry/ironing jobs available during the week. We are open 7 days a week and will provide you with all the necessary experience you need to work in any hotel. Your general responsibilities will include:
- Following cleaning tasks and other organisational duties
- Recording missing or damaged items and arranging for the item’s repair or replacements
- Recruiting and training new household or hotel staff
- Responding to customer complaints or enquiries immediately and reporting any problems to the supervisor
- Wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning windows and scouring bathrooms
- Maintaining an inventory of household items, uniforms, equipment and furniture
- Notifying guests of any accidents or problems while rendering service
- Establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures for cleaning and organising the rooms and facilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting equipment at the end of their shift
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in a hotel or cleaning company
